Golf Lessons Orlando

Simple and fun! That’s what golf is supposed to be according to PGA Teaching Professional, Dave Clark. For more than 20 years Dave has been teaching golf lessons in Orlando and showing his students how to improve their game by keeping things simple.
“I pride myself in teaching my students how to improve by understanding their mistakes and what to do to correct them” Dave said. “I want my students to ask questions, lots of them. To me, that is a sign we are communicating and learning. If a student continually makes the same mistake, I want them to know why they make it and what to do to correct it. In doing so, they can self-correct a problem when I am not there.”
A Michigan native, Dave began golfing when he was 12 years old. He moved to Orlando in 1997 to accept an instructor position at the prestigious Faldo Golf Institute. It was at Faldo that Dave developed his early teaching philosophy.
Currently Dave owns and operates a private golf lesson business offering programs for golfers at all levels. Whether you are a 20 handicapper looking to get to single digits or an aspiring tour player, Dave will help you achieve your goals through a comprehensive golf lesson program.
Most students begin with an hour golf lesson. From there he can customize a program to your specific needs based on your goals. “If your goal is to be a better, consistent ball striker, a full swing program would be for you. If your goal is to sharpen your shots on and around the green, a short game program would work to your benefit.”
“Most people really don’t know what their weaknesses are until they track their statistics on a score card. I really don’t think golfers know how many fairways or greens they hit on average” Dave said. ”Or how many putts they have in a round. Golf is like running a business; if you don’t know where your weaknesses are how will you ever improve your bottom line or score? Once you have this information, make the adjustments and work on them so you can improve.”
