Selling to a Woman Vs Selling to a Man
February 8, 2011 by Celebration
Distinct approaches should be taken when selling products or services to a man when compared to a woman. As they say that men are from mars and women from Venus both of them feel extremely differently and hence, their thinking will need to be influenced by various strategies(Business).
For instance, when a man decides to get a vehicle he looks out for the newest model, speed, mileage, etc. But when a woman goes out to get a car she will select a car depending on the color. She would like it match it either with her work dress or accessories like watch and will be concerned whether there’s sufficient space to store her necessities. Since their psychologies differ so much, they must be convinced to get a product making use of diverse methods.
Presentation is also quite vital. The salesperson talking to a male client doesn’t have to concentrate a lot on looks and cleanliness. It is okay if he doesn’t have the required documents on hand and his sleeves are folded up. But when the exact same salesperson is referring to a female client, he really should be spotless from head to toe. He will need to comb his hair correctly, have manicured nails and even his shoes must be well-polished. The salesperson will need to be prepared with all of the needed documents before hand and shouldn’t go rushing in front of the customer. Women seek perfectionism.
Words will need to be spoken with extra care in front of a woman customer. Women are better listeners and they will analyze every spoken word. Plenty of emotion really should be involved inside the talking due to the fact women are drawn to emotions instantly. Like when selling clothes to a lady, tell her how you’ll really feel poor for her if she has to sweat badly in the summer on account of her nature of job. Pick a nice cotton dress for her and ask her to try it. The customer will be extremely touched and will take much less time to purchase the product. Seventy five percent of the job is performed if she is won emotionally (car insurance).
Next important point is to never stop talking in front of the female customer. The moment the salesperson stops talking, she will start thinking deeply about the product and will begin examining every detail of the product and will give a second thought to the product. Women have the capability of multi-tasking. They’ll be able to listen as well as read the manual at the same time. So maintain her involved into numerous things at a time. A man lacks the talent of multi-tasking. If a male client gets involved with some thing else, stop speaking immediately due to the fact he will be unable to concentrate on both the issues and it’ll lead him into a confusion state.
Another point to be taken care of is, it’s not a good concept to have a woman salesperson when a male client is to be handled. Women talk a great deal and men are poor listeners. The woman salesperson will go on and on about the product plus the man will just nod his head with out acquiring any meaning out of it. They will not able to express properly regardless of whether they’re getting the point or not. But on the other hand, a woman client can effortlessly express how significantly she has followed. Even if they do not speak it out, her facial expressions will tell it all. So when a salesperson is dealing with a female customer, he or she really should watch out for the client’s expressions. If she shows any state of confusion or dislike, try taking a different approach.
Men clients might be made to understand about the product by merely drawing the outlook of the product using a basic pen and paper. Men have a great capability of visualizing the three dimensional images of the product which is being referred to. But women aren’t so great that. To present a clear picture, the sample or the actual product must be shown to her.
Complimenting a male customer is a rather great concept. He will probably be over whelmed and will take it in a great sense. But a woman is really a careful listener, so any compliment should be given with extra care. Any fake compliment will probably be instantly detected (Computers).

Adult Education Classes in Central Florida
January 7, 2011 by Celebration Florida Magazine
Filed under Celebrtion Florida
In this uncertain economic climate, it’s a good idea to consider ways that you can increase your value as an employee. You want to give your bosses lots of reasons to keep you around for a long, long time. You may have cause for concern if you don’t have the same qualifications as your colleagues. Having a degree that is directly related to your field is becoming more and more important. Practical experience definitely helps, but that’s not always enough. That’s why it’s a good idea to start checking into adult education classes in Central Florida right now.
Adult education classes are a great way to update your skills without completely disrupting your busy life. There are many options for taking courses for both personal enrichment and college credit, giving you even greater flexibility in terms of how you can proceed and expand your options not only at your current job, but in building your resume for the future.
One option is to take adult education classes at a nearby campus or even online. Central Florida has some of the best colleges in the nation. Universities such as University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, Southeastern University, Florida Southern, and countless others offer college courses and even entire Bachelor’s degree programs designed for the working adult. Take classes online, at night, or even on weekends at any of the local Central Florida universities or community colleges in Orlando, Lakeland, or even Tampa.
Don’t get overwhelmed yet! You don’t have to jump into thousands of dollars of dept and a four-year commitment. Consider some local Celebration or online Associate degree programs. Many Associate Degree programs are offered at local Central Florida community colleges for a fraction of the cost of the larger universities like University of Central Florida in Orlando. Not to mention, as a Florida resident, it is a breeze to take you’re A.A. degree to an accredited Florida college or university and finish out your Bachelor’s degree at a later date. The state of Florida encourages continuing education for its residents and there are many, many opportunities for scholarships and financial aid.
Maybe you’re not interested in obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Perhaps you would just like to go back for a while and learn more about your field or hone your skills with more recent pertinent information. Many Florida residents that go back to school attend adult education classes with this intent. Enroll in a Florida college or Central Florida University adult education classes without pursuing a degree. For many, this route is far more economical than committing to a four-year degree program. By taking specific adult education classes that would help you on the job, you could earn a professional certificate instead of a degree. A certificate could still work to solidify your value to your company, as it would show that you are dedicated to professional development and continually striving to keep up on advancements in strategy and technology in your field.
Living in Central Florida, you will not have any trouble finding quality, affordable adult education classes that will help you in your career pursuits. Thanks to the Internet and your relative proximity to many different college campuses and unlimited online degree programs, you shouldn’t have any trouble adding to your worth as an employee.

Interior Painting Ideas– House Painter Celebration & Orlando
December 6, 2010 by Celebration Florida Magazine
Filed under Business
When redecorating, you can just paint your walls the colors you want, and then you can be done. However, there are many other painting ideas out there that you can use to make your rooms special if you wish to do so. Many love to find new methods of adding various designs to the walls and originality to their home.
The best thing to do is to look for inspiration anywhere you can find it. You can find painting ideas in many places. For the more general interior painting ideas, it’s okay to look through magazines and books full of great looking interiors. There’s nothing wrong with stealing a look, though you may find that you want to give it your own personal touch. You may also come across a color or a combination in a friends’ home that seems like something you would love.
When it comes to choosing colors for interior painting ideas, you have to think about the personalities of each color in the rainbow. Darker red tends to give an elegant look, but the furniture has to be just right to pull it off. It can also give a room a serious look, and that doesn’t work in all rooms for all people. Yellow is often a happy color, but it might look better in a kitchen or in a bathroom rather than in the master bedroom. Thinking about what each color seems to imply can help deciding about which colors are under consideration for interior painting ideas.
You can also think about things like textures when considering interior painting ideas. There are ways to use two or three colors to come up with a textured look that might give a whole new dimension to a room. These can look very nice, and do well in rooms like the dining room and in the bedrooms, but they can do well in almost any room.
Sometimes these interior painting ideas are best left to a professional painter. Professional painters can turn your painting ideas into a reality in a short period of time for a very reasonable price. Professional painters also have the experience in these different painting techniques to complete them quickly and expertly. Make your painting ideas a reality and call Victor for a free estimate! Victor is a licensed and insured house painter with over 20 years experience in residential and commercial painting in Florida. Orlando Party TV – Orlando, Florida
November 6, 2010 by Celebration Florida Magazine
Filed under Entertainment
Filipe Costa is proof that the entrepreneurial spirit is still alive despite the lagging economy. Last year Costa founded Orlando Party TV, an online channel highlighting events from around the Central Florida area. In a few short months, Orlando Party TV has covered events such as Open Mike Nights with spoken word artists, Daytona’s Bikeweek & Biketoberfest.
“Our goal is to cover as many local events as possible and post them online with exclusive videos and pictures giving Central Florida readers a more in depth look about those respective events,” Costa said. “They say a picture is worth a thousand words and we truly believe these videos will paint the picture for our followers who want to decide if they want to attend an event.”
When he was student at the University of South Florida majoring in computer engineering, Costa realized that while computer engineering was a good job, he didn’t feel fulfilled. He studied sound engineering and production then worked for Apple. His first love is music but the video production “rubbed off on me.”
“I started producing videos at home then I came up with the idea of having a channel,” Costa said.
Orlando Party TV is also available to businesses who need a videographer for their seminars, training sessions or events. Costa’s future plans include covering family related events such as sports events, weddings and birthday parties.
“We feel videos haven’t been taken fully advantage of when it comes showcasing these events yet,” Costa said. “However, our goal is to change that scenario rapidly. People can watch videos on their cell phones. By posting videos with professional quality but at the same time leaving the people to be our reporters, readers will get a true opinion of that particular event was like. ”
Visit Orlando Party TV at www.youtube.com/orlandopartytv and at http://vimeo.com/optv. Contact Costa at (321) 947-0520 or at www.orlandopartytv.com.

Celebration School Technology Fundraiser – Support TechupK8
October 16, 2010 by Celebration Florida Magazine
Filed under Business, Classifieds
Celebration School is in the midst of a fund drive to raise $240,000.00 for instructional technology. As technology has increased in the classroom over the years, Celebration School has fallen behind.
There are three reasons why Celebration School is behind many other schools. First, Celebration School does not qualify for federal funds since they do not have a large population of economically disadvantaged students. Recently a school with Title I funds was able to purchase Interactive Boards for each teacher to use in the classroom.
Secondly, Celebration School does not qualify for many offered grants due to the community’s high socio-economic status, lack of diversity, and high performance rates. Celebration School has been an “A” school for the past eight years.
Lastly, the district can not provide technology funds since the State has consistently decreased all funding to the district. This year the district is operating at $30, 000,000.00 less than two years ago.
The instructional technology currently being used in the classroom consists of the following: computer, projector, document camera, interactive board, classroom response system, interactive tablet, and audio enhancement system. It can cost as much as $4,000 to equip a classroom effectively. A technologically enhanced educational environment can engage the students, provide more time on-task, and ultimately increase learning. Many of the schools which are advanced in technology are seeing an increase in their students’ scores and the overall school grade.
Concerned parents and the administration have joined together to create a TechupK8 committee responsible for raising funds through activities such as the just-completed phone pledge drive. The committee members will be visiting all the businesses in the Celebration community during the month of January to seek donations. Donations are also being sought from people who have either a personal or professional stake in the community. Recently, it was agreed that any funds generated from the Celebration Games to be held this February would go to the technology fund. The committee website www.techupk8.org provides additional details regarding equipment needed, donor levels, and a list of what each teacher has in their classroom.
The school administration has signed an agreement with DirecTV4School.com in which $100 could be donated to the school by new sub-scribers and $50 will be donated by renewing a subscription. All new and renewing subscribers would have to do is use the school code B2616. If 1,000 homes would sign up for this program, we could have $50,000 given to the school each year for technology. The best thing about it is that anyone, anywhere in the country can donate to the school simply by using the code.
We, here at Celebration Florida Magazine, have also developed a program in which advertisers and subscribers to our services can generate support towards the school. Numerous advertising packages are available that will generate monthly funds to Celebration School’s TechupK8 program. For more information on how you can help Celebration School whilst maintaining page one rankings on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing, call Fabio at 877-233-9052 ext 1.
Although Celebration School still has a long way to go, each step gets them closer to their goal. Currently, they have raised $15,000 and have been able to purchase 15 document cameras. That’s 15 more than they had before the initiation of the TeckupK8 program. They are confident that through the support of the Celebration community and concerned individuals, they will reach their goal and be a school on the cutting edge of instructional technology.

Celebration Florida’s Fun Station Closes
April 4, 2010 by Jim Siegel
The Family Fun Station, a Celebration Town Center business that has specialized in delivering family fun, has sadly decided to close its doors. Mike and Pattie Gaw, well-respected and much admired Celebration residents, announced the closing with a December 30 posting on the Front Porch website.
According to their post, “We have made a decision to close the Family Fun Station at the end of the business day on December 31st. We have made this decision for several reasons. First, the business as currently structured cannot generate sufficient income to justify remaining open; second,we have not had success in any attempts for the addition of different activities that would generate revenue;and third, we no longer can afford to pay the rent, utilities and wages required to remain open. We are saddened by this set of circumstances, and the fact that our dream of providing a wholesome place for the community, young and old, to relax and have fun will not be realized. We fully accept the fact that we made a business decision to open the Family Fun Station in October 2007, but as it turns out like thousands of other small businesses the decision in retrospect was not timely. We had hoped that the economy would improve and business would be better, but we learned a lesson that I well knew from my military experience that hope is not a method. “
Mike and Pattie were among the first residents of Celebration, having had their name chosen during the original lottery held by Disney in November 1995. A former army major general, Mike is one of the town entrepreneurs, and has served the community as a CROA board member. Pattie is a successful real estate agent who plans to continue that business.
The Gaws explained that they would be selling the contents of the Fun Station over the next few weeks, including games, vehicles, prizes and bikes. That includes the popular Celebration Express train that has given thousands of passengers a mini-tour of Celebration around the immediate Town Center area. Anything that is not liquidated would be donated to Give Kids the World, an organization that they have long supported.
Magnanimously, the Gawsacknowledged that many children have been saving redemption tickets and that they would do their best to redeem them for prizes, cash they can spend, or donations to a charity.
The Gaws can be contacted through the Front Porch posting thread or at the Fun Station while liquidation and clean-up proceeds.
Pattie and Mike concluded by noting, “We would like to sincerely thank each and every customer who has frequented the Family Fun Station, our long time immediate neighbors Kilwin’s Ice cream–the very best ice cream in the area, and our new neighbors the unique Spot Me Kids. We wish continued success to you both.”
