The Ice Cream Diet – Hype, Myth, Or Truth?

This diet, the Ice Cream Diet, is a strategy that says you can shed the weight without giving up something like ice cream every day. Imagine that. The sun rises is a fact as much as ice cream makes you fat, and this diet comes along and makes that claim? We really were interested to discover what was behind this crazy idea about losing weight and eating ice cream. So that’s what we did.

So it’s really incredible because it’s all worked out; lose weight and still be able to eat some ice cream every day along the way.

OK, we’ll tell you that this diet incorporates something from psychology in its approach. When you restrict yourself from something in particular, there’s an unusual feeling of wanting it even more so than before. The vast majority of people feel like they’re being deprived of something they truly want whenever they diet. Once people reach a weight loss goal, then they will almost always go back to eating those very foods they were not allowing themselves to eat. Therefore, this approach reduces all those feelings of deprivation, and the feeling of wanting to eat unhealthy foods after the diet are reduced, accordingly. So in the end, the dieter doesn’t have all those difficult emotions, and the tendency to stick with the diet will be much greater.

As is usual, there are exceptions, and the Ice Cream Diet is not good for every single person out there. It’s really important for a person to exercise moderation, and that is mainly referring to the ice cream eating. Unfortunately, every single person will not be able to maintain eating ice cream in moderation. But that calls something into play that is the exact problem for many people, they can’t stop eating – or will not, or can’t overcome the urge to eat. Those for whom moderation and a little control is really impossible, then their chances of success will be smaller.

The approach with the Ice Cream Diet is well-grounded in behavioral science, and it really is effective depending on the person. What is necessary is to follow the guidelines for daily eating calories and suggested ice cream portions and exercise. You can lose weight, no doubt, with the Ice Cream Diet if you’re able to follow those three points.
