There are certain barriers in the way of success and the aim of these is to root out the lazy people; if it was so easy then everyone would be a successful entrepreneur. An entrepreneur needs to have dogged determination.
- It is important to listen to people but make your own decisions. A lot of entrepreneurs have succeeded after being told by everyone else that they were destined to fail. People can be a useful source for information but don’t allow anyone to talk you into failure if you feel sure you are onto a winner. One of the greatest gifts that every entrepreneur seems to have is the ability to see potential in things that others can’t.
- Make sure the people around you are the best at what they do and be sure to remember that you cannot take care of everything yourself. Understanding your weaknesses is important as is getting someone else to make up the shortfall. Most successful entrepreneurs will have a team of bright people who have helped them on their way.
