There are also three wheeled options available where the newborn can lie flat at the back of the pushchair while the toddler sits up straight in front.
Because tandem pushchairs are narrower than twin pushchairs, they can fit through narrow doors and the seats are wider making it more comfortable for the baby. The other problem with them is that they tend to be heavier and harder to maneuvre.
