A flexible sole is also a feature of good skate shoes, as you will need as much manoeuvrability as possible.

With all these factors, it may sound like the shoes will weigh a great deal, but some are actually fairly light. Some of the well known brand names are endorsed by a professional. This will indicate that the shoe is of good quality, as most professionals will not want their name associated with a badly made product.
